About
As an enrolled agent, Tanja represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and in all 50 states. She has defended hundreds of companies and individuals before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax agencies. Tanja is a results-oriented enrolled agent who regularly assists clients with getting their back taxes filed and negotiating the balances due. Her practice includes back taxes, filing and negotiating offers in compromise, audits, payroll taxes, wage levies, real estate liens, penalty abatements, and innocent spouse filings. She works closely with clients and their accountants in planning strategies to minimize potential taxes, penalties, and interest.
Tanja’s services include:
- Filing and negotiating offers in compromise, installment agreements, and tax lien releases
- Regaining taxpayers’ passports and driver’s license privileges
- Helping clients identify, organize, and, if necessary, reconstruct documentation for audits
- Filing penalty abatement requests, audit reconsiderations, and requests for innocent spouse relief
- Helping clients through the “trust fund” recovery penalty issue process
- Representing clients at appeals conferences, collection due process hearings, equivalent hearings, and CAP (collection appeals program) hearings
- Stopping IRS and state collection actions such as wage garnishments, bank levies, and asset levies
Tanja is a native of Chicago, Illinois, where she grew up as the middle child of two math teachers. She moved to Cincinnati to coach the Thomas More Women’s Basketball Team, where she also obtained her M.B.A. Tanja spends her free time doing volunteer work for children’s athletic events and still closely follows her lady Saints.
