Jessica practices in the areas of tax and business law. In her tax practice, Jessica assists clients with IRS and state audits and collection issues, including offers in compromise, payment plans, penalty abatement requests, and innocent spouse relief. She helps clients navigate the complex and often confusing tax code and reach a successful resolution of their tax issue. Jessica works diligently to provide superb representation for individuals, small business owners, partnerships, limited liability companies, and S corporations.
Jessica’s business practice includes selection and formation of business entities, including limited liability companies, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. She advises clients on the tax consequences of each entity, and works to ensure that each business she creates is tailored to meet her client’s specific needs. Jessica also works with existing businesses, helping them with the purchase and sale of their business, mergers and acquisitions, strategic and succession planning, contract negotiations, and employment agreements.
Jessica graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in Communication with a concentration in Advanced Communication Skills. Jessica earned her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2009, magna cum laude, with a concentration in Tax Controversy and Tax Litigation. She is admitted to the Bar in Ohio and Kentucky and is licensed to practice in various federal courts including United States Tax Court.
Jessica lives in Northern Kentucky and is involved in her community, serving as both a volunteer and a site coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Jessica is also a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and ProKids Young Professionals.
